Golf Simulator Black Friday Deals: What’s Really Discounted

Golf simulator Black Friday prices are hard to judge because many maker pages already show a sale in October. A struck-through number tells you what the seller calls regular, not what buyers paid last month. Below: what retailers and owners reported from 2022 to 2025, an October 2026 price list to compare against, and five checks for a real discount.

In a Nutshell

In past Black Friday sales, owners saw real cuts on PCs, projectors and impact screens; most launch monitors moved a few hundred dollars, with Uneekor the big exception. Judge November prices against the October sale price, not the struck-through “regular” figure.

👉 One Uneekor model’s October 2026 sale price already matches the Black Friday 2025 price an owner reported.

Jargon, once:

  • Struck-through price — the crossed-out “regular” figure printed next to a sale price.
  • Compare-at price — the store’s name for that crossed-out figure.
  • BFCM — Black Friday through Cyber Monday, the four days most sales cover.
  • Launch monitor — the sensor that measures each shot.

What Got Discounted in Past Years

Only a few past sales are on record. One retailer’s announcements from 2022 and 2023 show what it cut, and owner posts fill in launch monitors.

How this was built: makers’ pages read on October 2, 2026; retailer holiday-sale announcements from November 2022 and 2023; owner reports from Reddit since 2023. Nothing here was tested hands-on.

What Barely Moves: Launch Monitors

Owners split the sale into two kinds of gear. PCs, projectors, cables, mounts and impact screens see real cuts; dedicated launch monitors barely move (4 reports from 4 owners).

  • Garmin R50: one Reddit user’s estimate before the 2025 sales:

“The most you’ll get off the R50 is $500 off” (Reddit user, 2025-10-13)

  • Uneekor EYE MINI LITE: the exception. One owner who paid the full $2,700 regretted it when the November 2024 sale price came in at $1,799. A year later, another owner found the Black Friday price higher:

“Last year I bought the EML for $1799 on BF. This year it’s $1999.” (Reddit owner, 2025-11-15)

  • In Canada: one owner paid 3,200 CAD on a 2024 sale (down from 3,800 CAD), then saw 2,800 CAD on Black Friday a month later.
  • Retailer cuts on launch monitors in 2022 and 2023 ran $200 to $300, or 15%, in the table above.

If a launch monitor is your one big purchase, check whether it’s already on sale in October before planning around November.

How to Tell a Real Discount

Shoppers keep asking whether a Black Friday price is new or just the everyday price under a sale banner (3 reports from 3 owners). One shopper’s question about the Mevo+ in December 2024:

“Is that just the normal price? Or is that actually a good deal?” (Reddit user, 2024-12-02)

Five checks:

  1. Record the October price. Several maker pages already showed a sale on October 2, 2026 (table below). A November price only counts as a saving if it beats that.
  2. Treat the struck-through figure as the seller’s claim. FlightScope’s Mevo+ page showed a $1,099 sale price against a struck-through $2,299 on October 2, 2026. A retailer listed the same unit at a regular $2,199 in November 2023, so the crossed-out number sat above an earlier regular price.
  3. Check two or three sellers. On October 2, 2026 the Garmin R10 was $499.99 at Garmin, Shop Indoor Golf, PlayBetter and Carl’s Place; Shop Indoor Golf marked it as a sale against a compare-at $599.99, Garmin’s earlier list price.
  4. Compare like with like. Bundles change contents. Count the strips, mats, software months and warranty, not the headline saving.
  5. Read the software terms. A cheaper unit that needs a yearly plan can cost more by year two.

Other Sale Windows

Black Friday isn’t the only cut of the year, and for some gear it wasn’t the best one (4 reports from 4 owners).

  • Boxing Day (December 26): one owner held off past the early launch monitor sales:

“I believe the sale on GC3 was slightly better than Black Friday” (Reddit owner, 2024-10-24)

  • PGA Show sales in January: owners name them alongside Boxing Day.
  • Labor Day: one Canadian owner bought in a Labor Day sale, then saw a November 2024 price 650 CAD lower.
  • Prime Day and pricing errors: one owner reported in October 2024 getting a 4 x 10 ft SIGPRO Softy mat in a Prime Day pricing mistake.
  • The used market, a few months on: owners point to it once some early buyers stop playing through sore shoulders or elbows. Sellers often get far less than they hoped (3 reports from 3 owners), which is the buyer’s side of the same sale.

Order Risks: Delivery, Cancellations and Codes

Sale orders carry their own risks (3 reports from 2 owners).

  • Delivery dates: one poster’s warning before the 2025 sales:

“Keep in mind, lead times during black friday sales can get pushed way out” (Reddit user, 2025-10-13)

  • Cancellations and codes: in December 2025 one owner reported that Golf Galaxy cancelled a Cyber Monday Garmin R50 order as out of stock, then wouldn’t honor the discount code.
  • Stacking: in December 2024 one owner said Dick’s honored an extra 10% off the sale price in store.
  • Financing: one retailer offered 0% APR for 12 and 24 months from November 15 to December 15, 2022.
  • Gifts: if it must arrive by Christmas, confirm the ship date before you pay.

Golf Simulator Black Friday FAQ

When do golf simulator Black Friday sales start?

Early. Rain or Shine Golf announced its 2023 deals on November 8, and one owner noted that launch monitor sales came in the run-up to Black Friday. Several maker pages were already on sale in October 2026.

Do launch monitors go on sale for Black Friday?

Yes, but usually by less than packages and accessories: $200 to $300 off at one retailer in 2022 and 2023, and about $500 at most on the R50 by one owner’s estimate. Uneekor’s cuts ran deeper.

Is a struck-through price a real discount?

The sale price is real; the struck-through figure is the seller’s own “regular” number. Compare against the October price and against other sellers.

Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?

Check the October price against the past-year table first. The EYE MINI LITE’s October 2026 sale price ($1,999) already matches what one owner reported for Black Friday 2025. If it’s a gift, order early.

What’s worth buying on Black Friday?

Owners report real cuts on PCs, projectors and impact screens, and one retailer’s 2023 sale took $80 to $500 off nets, mats and enclosure packages. Launch monitors are worth checking but are rarely the big saving.

Final Thoughts

Black Friday rewards the buyer who knows last month’s price. Generic gear such as PCs, projectors and screens took real past cuts; launch monitors moved less, and several were on sale in October 2026. Write down the October baseline, compare November prices at two or three sellers, and read bundle contents and software terms first. If a unit isn’t cheaper than in October, try Boxing Day, January show sales or the used market.
